Plainfield Chamber Foundation College Scholarships
The Plainfield Chamber Foundation works closely with the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce, local businesses and individuals to enrich lives and enhance our community for a better tomorrow. Scholarships are funded to further provide opportunities to benefit the greater Plainfield community.
A special thank you goes out to the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce and families who generously donated in memoriam paving the path of opportunities. Their commitment to grow a strong community for all helped the Foundation fund scholarships for recent graduates and adults with diverse studies.
2025 Scholarship Opportunities:
Five (5) scholarships in amounts of up to $3,000 each will be paid in full in the fall semester (or at the Foundation Board's discretion with pre-approval) upon proof of meeting eligibility requirements. Recent graduates, learners attending industrial/trade/vocational programs, restarting, or continuing education are encouraged to apply. Scholarship funds apply to the fall semester's remaining unfunded tuition. Any unused funds are forfeited to the Foundation and passed onto future recipients.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Scholarships to an accredited school are provided to adults and students who currently reside or work in the Town of Plainfield, Guilford or Liberty Township.
- High School seniors must meet the credits required for college entry and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0+/4.0 (or equivalent scale.)
- Adults do not require GPA submission for consideration.

Notification & process: You will receive correspondence regarding selection status. Recipients receive details of the presentation at the luncheon meeting held the 3rd Tuesday in May, 11:30-1:00pm, and the scholarship distribution requirements.
